Lurking from the shadows, this worshiping cult of Tzeentch, the Cult of Mirrors, conspires to favor their god in the lands of Araby. The base for it is in the ruins of the city of Bel-Aliad, where the Portal of Twilight stands, a direct link to the Realm of Chaos. The lands of Araby will be marked by the corruption of this god, as would happen in later ages with Jaffar, and the ruins of the city themselves are riddled with Daemons of the God of Change, hideous and amorphous creatures and terrible monsters.[1a][2]

The most famous leader of the Cult of Mirrors was Mahik al'Rak, the one who created the Portal of Twilight in 1230 IC, and who managed to grow the cult to a fearsome influence in Araby. His body was soon after possessed by Tzeentch, who would alter magic in Araby to further his interests.[1a]

The Portal of Twilight may be related to the Mirror of Nightmares.
