The Crimson Cyclops, also known as the "Sorcerer King," is a mysterious Daemon Prince of Tzeentch described in the Liber Chaotica by Richter Kless, though thankfully never encountered in the mortal world.
History[]
Kless describes a trip through the Endless Night under the guidance of the Slaaneshi Chaos Cultist Alphonse Dolmancé, in which he beheld a vision of the Crimson Cyclops, the highest among the many Daemon Princes of Tzeentch. Kless never learned how this entity was raised to Daemonhood, but was given the name "Magnus" as his mortal name -- surely a bitter irony that the greatest Daemon Prince of Tzeentch would share his name with the greatest among the servants of Sigmar, Magnus von Bildhofen.
The Crimson Cyclops is said to have spawned a thousand sons and his machinations are said to reach across the universe and touch the life of mortals everywhere. He holds court in a barren fortress which perpetually transforms, where the Daemon Prince sits on a throne in chambers of rainbow-hued fire and water.
Trivia[]
The Crimson Cyclops is a character very similar, if not near-identical, to the Daemon Primarch Magnus the Red from Games Workshop's other setting, Warhammer 40,000.
