Cossacks are a nomadic people who live in the far North. Riders and scouts without pear, these brave warriors have always stood as Kislev's first line of defense against the wrath of Chaos. Year after year, a war of ambush and counter-ambush is fought with the Cossacks often-times vicorious. Even when faced with overwhelming odds their hatred for the forces of Chaos often pull them through.[1a]

- While originally mentioned in First Edition Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying Game as one of the tribes that inhabited the nation of Kislev, the Cossacks have not been mentioned or appeared since, even in future editions of the RPG when talking about the tribes of Kislev, and thus are considered non-canon now.
