Clan Rabidscar is a Skaven clan that lived within the peak of Taurig in the Grey Mountains after fleeing the Black Chasm during the time of the Black Plague and the Skaven Wars in ca. 1111 IC.
Clan Rabidscar was led by a black-furred Skaven Warlord named Visquit Furblak, a wise old Skaven who had ruled the clan for 10 years. The clan had dominated the other Skaven clans at the Black Chasm but after Furblack proved unable to maintain his clan's violent dominance due to his increasing age, Clan Rabidscar was pushed out by their revolting Thrall Clans. Furblak then led the clan to Taurig Mountain in the search for a huge cache of Warpstone. While there they fought an Imperial army led by Mandred Skavenslayer.
Upon Taurig, while using a Warpstone Amulet the Skaven of Clan Rabidscar found a ruined Human temple dedicated to Sigmar that did contain a large cache of Warpstone. Clan Rabidscar used the Warpstone to buy allies among the other Skaven clans to help secure control of the surrounding area, including the aid of a Clan Pestilens Plague Priest named Scraek.[1a]
