Icon and livery of the Skaven's Clan Mange
Clan Mange is a Skaven Warlord Clan notable for their distinct piebald fur and their sense of "loyalty," albeit one which simply serves the highest bidder, a loyalty renowned throughout the Under-Empire.[1a]
Unlike the chaotic and undisciplined hordes of other Skaven clans, the ratmen of Clan Mange are professionals, at least relatively speaking.[3a]
Warlock Master Maliss Manrack hired them to be sentinels and soldiers during his infamous Project Moonbreaker to destroy the green Chaos Moon Morrslieb and claim the warpstone that comprised it for the Skaven. He dispatched them on increasingly dangerous missions, with the hope of thinning their numbers enough to enslave the survivors. The leaders of Clan Mange were not aware of Manrack's true intentions. Clan Mange fights the Poisoned Skull tribe of Night Goblins for control of the depths of the Dwarf hold of Karak Azgaraz.[4a]
The clan spent a fortune to hire Fleer Twitchkill's services in eliminating targets in Middenheim.
Notable Members[]
- Warlord-General Kratz - Kratz is a large, piebald Skaven with a scarred snout, grizzled fur, and a beaten expression. He is the primary general of Clan Mange and its reigning warlord.[2b]
- Clawleader Rikkhin - Rikkhin is also a large, piebald Skaven, and the littermate of Kratz. He is often dishevelled in appearance, and possessed rusty weapons and leather armour. Rikkhin was ultimately betrayed by Maliss Manrack and killed in a cave-in manufactured by Manrack in the warrens of Under-Middenheim. He was the leader of a group of Skaven called the Patchclaws, named for their patchy, piebald fur. [2b]
