Clan Filch was a Skaven Warlord Clan that existed in 1111 IC during the Black Plague. Too poor to afford amenities like worm-oil and Warplight, the clan relied on a one-sided alliances with larger clans, such as Clan Pestilens, for the purposes of increasing its own power. The clan was located in Slashscratch Deep, their lair littered with primitive artifices in lieu of worm-oil lamps and Warpstone-powered braziers. [1]
Warlord Nashquik ruled Clan Filch, an amibitious ratman keen on exploiting Clan Pestilens' relative weakness compared to other clans of the time like Clan Skab and the dictatorial Clan Rictus. However, Clan Filch sought greater power still, eyeing Poxmaster Puskab Foulfur, a Plague Priest of Clan Pestilens who had created the Black Plague and the small contingent of Plague Monks he had brought with him. If Clan Filch was able to wrest the secret of the creation of the Black Plague from these diseased ratmen, Clan Filch would rise from obscurity to ascendancy.[1]
The clan's ambitions were crushed when Foulfur, aware of the clan's desire to claim the Black Plague from him, instead turned another contagion on the clan, destroying it.[1]
