Clan Famin was a lesser Skaven clan of the Under-Empire. Though particularly nondescript, it had Human agents secreted about the Imperial city of Nuln from whom its leaders learned about the Engineer Werner Grunhelm.[1a]
Clan Famin treated with the ratmen of Clan Eshin, particularly Sneeq Foulblade and his troop of Gutter Runners. Its ruling Skaven Warlord, an obese Skaven named Glut, had plans to invade a nearby Human settlement for the good of his clan and to seize the weapons there that had been developed by the engineer Werner Grunhelm. Glut planned to sell these weapons to Clan Skryre for many Warptokens, enriching himself and strengthening the power of Clan Famin.[1a]
However, those same weapons proved dangerous to his ratmen, and so the Clan Eshin Skaven had been hired to slip behind the enemy's lines and take out key individuals whose death would make the ratmen's assault easier.[1a]

- Warlord Glut - Glut was an obese Skaven who sought Werner Grunhelm's weapons for the betterment of his own fortunes. Glut was the rival of the Grey Seer Qik, who had been assigned to his clan by the Council of Thirteen.
