Cavill, the White Wolf of Hoeth

Cavill, called the "White Wolf," is a Loremaster of Hoeth and a trusted companion of Prince Eltharion of the kingdom of Yvresse on Ulthuan. He is invariably a skilled warrior-mage who excels at battling large, monstrous opponents.[1]

Wargear[]

  • Blessed Tome - Tales of ancient valour, glory, and self-sacrifice are bound to inspire those of noble heart to greater deeds.[1]
  • Loremaster's Cloak - Wrapped in a cloak of grey, the wearer becomes insubstantial and highly-protected against magical attacks.[1]
  • Potion of Toughness[2]

Trivia[]

Cavill as a character is a reference to Henry Cavill, a British actor who is a great fan of the Total War: Warhammer series of PC games and Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 in general.

Cavill's unique "White Wolf" trait is a reference to Geralt of Rivia, the titular character of The Witcher novel series, who is a professional monster hunter who uses magic and potions to hunt down creatures that threatemn the Humans of his world. Henry Cavill also played Geralt in the The Witcher show on the Netflix streaming service for three seasons. The trait's flavour text, "Wind's Howling," refers to a popular quote from Geralt, who would occasionally say it in the third game of the PC game adaptation of the novels, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
