The Altdorf Celestial Body is an Altdorf newssheet published by the pamphleteer and rabble-rouser Calvin Kenzig. It is known for is sensationalist and often misleading headlines and its saucy woodcuts of Altdorf maidens.[1a]
Most people consider the Celestial Body lowbrow and tacky. But it's a secret guilty pleasure for many of the same Altdorfers who act like they're too good to read the rag. So, although he certainly isn't glamorous, Calvin Kenzig is more powerful than people give him credit for—any politician who wishes to remain popular must stay on the good side of the Altdorf Celestial Body.[1a]
