Borin Bullroarer was the infamous, huge and extraordinarily obese leader of the Zhufbar Miners Close Harmony Choir.[1a]

History[]

In 2500 IC, to honour 2,500 years of cooperation between Human and Dwarf, the renowned Zhufbar Miners’ Close Harmony Choir began an infamous and now wisely forgotten tour of the Reikland.[3a]

During its course, the Choir drank the entire town of Grunburg dry and caused riots in Wissenburg, Kemperbad and Ubersreik.[1a] When they reached Altdorf, the Dwarfs performed at the Grand Cathedral of Sigmar, and during ‘She Was Only a Halfling’s Daughter’ the octobass bellowing of Borin Bullroarer shattered the Emperor’s Window, causing incalculable damage, and sent the horses of the Reiksguard stampeding, in an event henceforth known as the Great Altdorf Stampede.[1a][3a]

Their leader, Borin Bullroarer, was arrested, and a delegation of lawyers and burgomeisters attempted to win damages from Zhufbar,[3a] but in Borin's opinion, it was hardly his fault if shoddy human workmanship had proven unable to stand up to his spirited singing... and the same went for the temple's poorly laid foundations.[1a]

This led to a long-held grudge, which was only struck out when High King Thorgrim Grudgebearer involved his own Loremasters in the dispute, and managed to win recompense of 1000 gold pieces from the Burgomeister of Altdorf for damage done to Borin Bullroarer's reputation.[1b][2a][3a]
