Bloody Spearz

The Bloody Spearz Tribe is a tribe of Night Goblins that pose a grave threat to traders moving across the Silver Road in the Worlds Edge Mountains.[2a]

The Bloody Spearz are real opportunists. Sitting at each end of the old Dwarf Silver Road, they have found rich pickings from the beleaguered Dwarf convoys. Many a Dwarven caravan, having survived the attacks of the White Orcs Tribe who hunt in the pass, will come stumbling out of the mountains, weary and battered, only to be set upon by the Bloody Spearz raiding parties.[2a]

They are so wealthy from the spoils of war that Orcs and Trolls have been known to flock to them in the hope of wealth and war.[2a]

In -1457 IC, the rich Dwarf mines of Mount Gunbad fell to the Bloody Spearz, who held it against treacherous attacks from the jealous Red Face Goblins inhabiting the surrounding mountains.[3a][4b]

Location conflict[]

In Warhammer Armies: Orcs and Goblins (6th Edition), the Bloody Spearz appear on a map as established on both the western and eastern ends of the Silver Road[1a], and this is supported by their description in the 2003 Orcs and Goblins Collectors Guide.[2a]

In Warhammer Armies: Orcs and Goblins (7th Edition), their location is not marked in the map, and their involvement in the conquest of Mount Gunbad is introduced.[3a] This fact is included also in the 8th Edition armybook[4b], but there the map shows them as settled in the Worlds Edge Mountains, between the Silver Road and the Mad Dog Pass.[4a]

In Total War: Warhammer, the Bloody Spearz are a Greenskin subfaction that holds Mount Gunbad.[5]
