- "Dere ain’t nuffin’ better den a gud scrap. Other den bashed stunties dat is."
- —Bax Deadtoof on his love of battle.
Bax Deadtoof is one of the mighty Black Orcs.
Black Orcs are the biggest of all greenskins; the smartest and strongest foot soldiers that the Bloody Sun Boyz have to offer. Clad in metal armour these towering hulks wield both choppa and shield with equal abandon. Like all greenskins, Black Orcs live (and die) for a fight. Unlike Goblins and lesser boyz however, Black Orcs don’t retreat. Ever (Unless there’s no one else around to see).
Bax gets his moniker from the iron encased tusk that juts from his gaping maw. His left tooth was broken off during a tussle with a rival band of Savage Orcs in the Badlands. By the time that the scrap had reached a satisfying conclusion (the Savage Orcs had all been stomped, bashed and otherwise chopped or ripped into tiny, bite sized pieces), Bax had lost his tooth to the unbreakable hide of the Savage Orc Chieftain. As the Chieftain was missing his head and Bax was only out a tusk he figured it was an even trade.
Bax Dreadtoof is a lumbering mass of muscle and mayhem. When he really gets going not much can stop him. Bax heartily believes in adding insult to injury which results in a devastating combination of crushing blows and hurled insults.
Wargear & Abilities
- "Bax's Scrappin' Suit" - Fighting or 'scrappin' is more than a favourite pastime; it is a way of life so deeply ingrained in greenskin behaviour that anyone who attempts to suggest otherwise is immediately killed (lest their madness spread) . Though Orcs will happily squabble for any reason, true satisfaction comes from b ashing one's opponent flat. Bax's scrapping' suit is a mishmash of metal cobbled together with brute force, Orc obscenities and more than a measure of luck. It is, in fact, a six Goblin suit. Meaning six Goblins were bashed, backhanded, or eaten during the creation of this bit of armour. His metal tower shield owes its current spiked and ringed appearance to a troop of Chaos Marauders who incorrectly assumed that a single Black Orc would be easy pickings to those blessed by the Dark gods. They were wrong. Bax enters battle completely encased in metal armour with one exception: his head (though one could argue greenskin skulls house nothing of importance and thusly do not expressly require protection). Though his scrappin' choppa may appear diminutive when held by the towering figure, only a fool would bring this observation to Bax's attention as the Black Orc is particularly sensitive about weapon size.
