An Ashigaru
Ashigaru are highly skilled warriors and followers of the samurai, whom they obey without question.[1a]
Role[]
Nipponese peasants are extremely reluctant to fight for their samurai overlords, however, sometimes they have no choice. They can be armed with hand weapons, spears, longbows or arquebuses, with the latter being known as arquebusiers.[1b][2a][3]
