The former ambassador to Kislev, Andreas Teugenheim is described as a whip-thin man with a reed-thin voice. Originally from Altdorf, he had little love for the position, presumably thanks in no small part to being extorted and blackmailed by one Vassily Chekatilo.[1a]

His liaison, Pavel Korovic, sees him as a spineless fool, leaving the Kislevite to drink most of the day and sleep in his office, and was glad to be rid of Andreas when Kaspar von Velten replaced him as ambassador.[1a]
