One of the ancient Khan Queens of the Gospodars, Anastasia was known for her wicked streak of mounting the heads of her enemies atop a chariot spike.[1a]
On modern times, Anastasia's portrait is hung at the Gallery of Heroes in Bokha Palace, along with those of other rulers of the Gospodars and of the nation they created, Kislev.[1a] Anastasia's portrait depicts her riding her war-chariot, arms aloft as the heavens raged above her. Tall and beautiful, the Khan-Queen has a fierceness to her features, a ferocity that echoes the harshness of the land that had borne her. She was a living, breathing representation of all that made the Kislevites such a hardy race of passionate warriors.[2a]
