Alberta Tavella is a career mercenary soldier from the land of Tilea.[1a]
She was lured into Matthias Haile's company when mercenary work was profitable during the Empire's recent political chaos. When the Turmoil of 2512 IC ended, and Matthias' company resorted to stealing from honest countryfolk, Alberta stood up to them -- and for her trouble, she was forced out of the company without recompense for her year of service.[1a]
She wants revenge against her former comrades and figures the Steam Tank known as the Emperor’s Wrath is her best chance of getting it. She doesn't know anything about Steam Tanks but is clumsily working as a Helblaster Volley Cannon loader following the death of Hans, the main weapon loader of the company lost to the Bog Mummies a few months ago.[1a]
