Old Albion 1

A map that depicts the Isles of Albion as narrated by Orfeo the Minstrel.

Agam Rund is a legendary Human king of ancient Albion.

Some stories tell that all the islands of Albion were once united in one realm under the rule of the great and good King Agam Rund, who had taught his knights a strict code of honour, called the "Code of Agam Rund," or the "Law of Agam," which all were proud to embrace and to obey. It is said that on the island of Morien that code is carefully preserved, binding the island's kings as tightly as its commoners.[1a]

Code of Agam[]

The commandments of the Code of Agam are these:[1b]

  • One, you will do no harm to any man who has not harmed you.[1b]
  • Two, you will deal honestly in commerce with all men, and lie to none.[1b]
  • Three, you will lend succour to the injured and aid to the needy.[1b]
  • Four, you will not injure or violate the privacy of another man's house and property.[1b]
  • Five, you will defend the weak who cannot defend themselves, against any and all unlawful oppressors.[1b]
  • Six, you will respect all the ties and obligations of lawful marriage.[1b]
  • Seven, you will bravely bear arms for Albion against its enemies, under the command of its king and his appointed generals.[1b]
  • Ten, you will be courteous and mild even with those you do not love, and will resist all wrath which is not righteous.[1b]
