Are Age of Sigmar and Fantasy supposed to be in the same world? I ask since it seems like GW released them as different games, but I can't tell if differences exist as I'm thinking

I my favorite army is vampire counts and I wish to know what edition to try besides 6th?
Alright so I plan on running a Warhammer Fantasy RPG at some point and I have a question in case of players or simple encounters and the like. How common are inter-species marriages in Warhammer Fantasy? I understand that other species can at the very least lust after humans and vice versa (from what I heard, a prime example would be the Gotrek and Felix novels). I was just curious. For example, has there been cases of Brettonian lords marrying elves due to the whole Lady of the Lake is elf thing? Do human merchants often marry dwarfs? how do halflings fit into this? and what of ogres as well? I am just full of questions when it comes to this topic and am not too sure about it.
Sigmar's page on this wiki contains a long and fancy story about how one day he just stood up and went into the unknown. The reason for this is explained in one sentence: "He turned to them and without a backward glance marched towards His final destiny and His place — earned through great deeds, unsurpassed courage, and much bloodshed and pain — in the everlasting pantheon of the gods.".
Does it mean that Sigmar actually intended to become a god? If so, how did he come to the conclusion that he could and should join the pantheon? And if Sigmar wasn't going to become a god, why did he just leave the Empire like this? I probably did not read the rest of the page properly, but there wasn't anything else related to the question.
Can Skaven be good guys by any chance?
If they could or were, what would change?

Generally Sylvanians are a xenophobic people, more so than what is standard, but what is their view of the Strigany? Given their reputation of being vampire worhipers would Sylvanian peasants find kinship in these nomadic peoples or would they view them with the same level of suspicion as any other foreigner?
So what happens to a city when greenskins take it do they kill everyone in there or do they rule the inhabbitents?

Assuming you’re neither attacked by goblins, Beastmen, or bandits and you aren’t stopped by toll roads. How long would it take to travel from Nuln to Altdorf by horse drawn cart? What can I use as a reference in regards to this map?

I remember seeing him in one other piece of art, in a street alongside a Slayer. I've been thinking how cool it'd be for the Old World to have more characters of color but either didn't know or forgot about this artwork. Even if he's not a named character, I still think this is awesome!
Mostly just a matter of 'are we allowed to say stuff that's implied in the text, but isn't explicitly stated', e.g describing the malfunctions of a weapon in detail, even if there's no text in the source explicitly saying 'if a musket misfires it'll probably blow shrapnel into your head'
Just wanted to know before setting out to make more wiki-edits, since i don't own a lot of first-hand sources for a lot of WH:F material
I know returning from the dead is possible in Warhammer- not common, but possible. Morathi is probably the best example of a witch who could do this- very powerful, immortal, probably thought about backup plans a long time back. I can't see her using the 'become a shriveled corpse' normal necromancer use, so what method would she use to return to the land of the living?
What would you call German Shepherds in the Warhammer World?
I’m aware that the breed now known as the German Shepherd hasn’t been created until the late 1800s when German Shepherds bred the most intelligent, responsive, and obedient shepherd dogs and that the Empire is largely still within the Renaissance era technological sphere (The College of Engineers aside) however I’m sure an Altdorf professor or even a magister of the Amber Order could discover the science of selective breeding.
So assuming German Shepherds are in the Warhammer World what would they be called? My personal favorite would probably be Reik Hund but that’s assuming that it’s initially bred in Reikland so if anyone had some pan Imperial names it’ll be much appreciated.
Has anyone else thought it ridiculous that out of all places in the Old World only the Empire hides the existence of the Skaven from it's citizens while everywhere else the Skaven are acknowledged. Also, in the Lore daemons are apparently a rare occurrence outside of the Northern Lands of Norsca, The Eastern Steppes and The Chaos Wastes, so much so that in the Gotrek and Felix novel Daemon Slayer there was a Dwarf who thought flesh hounds of Khorne were a myth. It's also been said that the presence of Chaos is far less common in Estalia.
I've been looking for Old World merch but could only find a handful, even on Etsy. Know any places I might have missed?
I looked at the wikipedia pages and maps and noted several parallels with Scotland, Austria and Saxony during the eras of the Roman and Holy Roman empires and afterwards.

I'm making a D&D world in the 1600's with both guns and bow weapons being used by a few factions even though firearms phased out bows. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the Empire uses muskets alongside bows, cannons with trebuchets, etc but I'm not sure. Just want to be sure the idea is even barely feasible even in a fantasy setting.
