According to this wiki it doesn't say if they do or they don't use big animals. It says the dwarfs don't do cavalry but the norse ones are a bit different. I think if you can explain it well enough then it's not too crazy to imagine them taming some of the big stuff around them to use instead of the cannons and flamethrowers of their southern counterparts. It says they are technologically inferior to the rest of the dwarfs so they must be doing something else right to survive up in that hell hole
Nagash is the man, even though he's the hero of his own story i think we can all agree he's pretty villainous. Mad power and a hefty legacy, what's not to love.
But there's humans in all of those settigs. Not sure about age of sigmar i've not bothered with that for now. You just couldn't deal with problems like a space marine, make it more a thinking mans game
Civilian definitely, i'm staying the fudge away from that craziness. Let the soldiers deal with it :D
Nice. It's working, cheers holmes.
A WAAAGGHH the likes of which has never before been seen. A WAAAGHH to break the world apart then take a big stinkin green poop on da bits left and smash em again. That is what i give to you, are you wiv me boyz, can you dig it?!
How do you get mods? Can you add them halfway through a campaign or do you have to start a new one?
That's what we said. It's the best of the natural ore type stuff but the dwarfs use that to make rune armour/weapons so that makes it even better. Regular gromril against regular weapons wins but regular gromril against magic and chaos and stuff is just really thick durable armour, you need to get it rune forged for it to withstand against the weird weapons and powers. Would regular un-runed gromril plate stand up to some elf swordmaster with a big ithilmar greatsword imbued with all sorts of weird elven magics and stuff? I don't know but i reckon not otherwise what's the point in the elf stuff
Has anyone managed a skaven campaign where they got all legendary lords? Not including mods and bonus points for getting moulder as well. Skaven seem like the most spread out
Not sure they've got a sort of "kryptonite" but it does seem like some of the heftiest stuff. I've just had a look through the wiki so someone probably knows more than me but i reckon it's the runes that make it extra tough. It says the irondrakes had to have a better type of gromril made to deal with the heat of the weapons so that says to me that gromril isn't perfect. As with most things there'll probably be some chaos magic or warpstone blade or something that can melt it like butter but then you're in a vicious circle of gromril beating steel, chaos daemon blade beats gromril, rune crafted gromril beats chaos nonsense, giant warboss with the might of gork smashes everything then uses the shiney gromril to decorate his big belt so on and so forth
Let indans invade it and take it over
Aye wood elves were horrible to fight as vampires. I did a vlad campaign with my mate and we went full zapp branigan on them, wave after wave of undead until they were too worn out. Trying to lure them out into ambushes helped as well but aye those wood elves are just the worst.
Scothe what were you playing before it went kaput? I had a nightmare one time. An empire campaign, had all the good military alliances, trashed chaos, was killing my way to naggarond. Had it beseiged and was just waiting for massive reinforcements. It was getting late so i saved it to start the next day with an epic battle but my laptop broke, had to wipe it and start again. One turn away from victory conditions, Sigmar give me strength :D
I know war but i don't know technology. I've not used any mods, sounds like witchcraft to me. Looks cool though :D
Dammit i pulled my spy back to worlds edge mountains, that wee gobbo has a lot of running to do. Don't worry grom i'ma comin'. Thanks for the heads up
Just recently started a grimgor campaign. Smashing my way through dwarves and orcs alike, wurrzag took over most of the badlands when i was fighting gorfang rotgut in the mountains but the new beat em up confederation system is excellent, smashed wurzzag and now i'm da biggest in da badlands. Launched a waaagh on karaz-a-karak and wrecked them, heading north to smash azhag's face in and get him on board. I sent a spy to find skarsnik and grom but grom's not there, i thought he appeared in the massif orcal but it's just the skullsmashers that are there, anyone know where grom might be?
With their stubby wee legs, cmon bro. Beastmen run around thick forests, they're nimble. The dwarf can just smell their dung coated fur from a mile away and move accordingly, usually straight forward with axe raised high :D
Vlad took a wife so vampire wives aren't unheard of and i reckon it could be good if he knew her from before and watched her gradual descent into feral beast but dude still loves her. He's a strigoi so he's not winning any beauty contests either
Love settra's many, many, many, many titles :D
Yaasss i love that groundskeeper wullie meme and it fits so well :D
