My last Settra campaign I was marching out to engage a full stack green skin army I was certain I could win.
out of nowhere another full stack green skin army moved through the underway right next to me just before the army I was pursuing turned and engaged my army.
and since I was in march stance I had no option to retreat and had to fight the battle.
both greenskin armies spawned on the same side of the map but naturally the reinforcements took a minute longer than their main host, so I put my 4 skeleton horse archers to harass them as they made their way over, and for whatever reason they decided to chases the skeleton horses around long enough for me to chase the first wave of enemies off the map and regroup to take on the second.
realm of souls and settras healing aura were the real heros of the day though, keeping that infantry wall up and protecting my archers safe to continuously fire into the blobs of greenskins.
wish I'd saved that video file because it was a pretty awesome battle.
A 4 vs 4 battle against the hordes of chaos. I was the empire and had moved 3 of my counts, one on griffon, one armoured horse and the other a wee new guy and my epic vampire smiting arch lector against archaon, kholek, sarthorael and some other chaos douche (sigvald got drawn out and smashed earlier). The battle was too big and the reinforcements were jumbled, the artillery and gunners didn't show up til nearly the end. Brutal battle almost everyone died, kholek was huge and ran through my lines and was gone but everyone else fought a horrendous bloody battle, thought it was lost about 4 or 5 times. Afterwards big boris and balthasar swept up the remains and hunted down kholek and chaos was finally defeated.
What do you think?
